Every season, Carver introduces new innovative deck models with original templates and molds. However, this time, we aimed to push the boundaries further, recognizing the limitations of wood deck construction, including restricted compound-curve potential.
With an unwavering commitment to excellence, we set our sights on creating the quintessential deck, featuring concave, nose, and tail kick– a skateboard that even JPL or Nasa might produce. Choosing Nylon 6, a material crafted from recycled fishing nets, was pivotal due to its specific structural properties, high mechanical strength, lightweight nature, and mechanical dampening qualities, allowing it to flex and feel organic like wood. No ordinary plastic possesses these critical characteristics.
